3M™ 4910 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 40 mil clear acrylic foam tape engineered for permanent, load-bearing bonds on glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and other smooth, high-surface-energy substrates. Its fully transparent construction makes it the preferred choice wherever visible fasteners, rivets, or welds would compromise aesthetics.
This tape is well suited to architectural glazing, retail signage mounting, electronics assembly, and industrial fabrication — any environment where a clean, invisible bond must withstand mechanical stress over time. The red polyethylene film liner aids handling during precise placement on transparent or finished surfaces.
The acrylic adhesive on both faces resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure, with a continuous-use service temperature range of -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93°C), supporting reliable performance indoors and outdoors. Each roll weighs approximately 0.28 lb. and ships via parcel carrier.
